The drugs and calcium, my exercising, or the combination of all has paid off. I’m signed up for another year of Fosomax, and I’ll keep taking my calcium. As for jogging, I guess I’m committed again. For the past week, I didn’t drag myself out. Now, I not only don’t have an excuse not to, I have a good reason to run those miles. Since Week 8 of the Couch to 5K (28 minutes of jogging) seemed daunting, I gave myself permission to drop back and start over.

Happy, happy. I am so pleased with my test results. (See me in your imagination, skipping along. 😊)

Now I have to worry that pride goeth before a fall. I’m being especially careful in my new Brookes running shoes, size 10.5. The saleswoman at Tri & Run in Winter Garden assured me they are the correct size, even though they are a half size larger than I’ve worn before. Their being a little longer gives me pause, but I expect I will get used to them fairly quickly. I certainly am enjoying their 1” thick soles.
